EXCITING NEWS!
Serenity Manor is excited to announce that we are in the beginning stages of opening up a new facility! Serenity Haven is a women's Rule 31 Halfway House. Opening date is expected to be July 1st 2012! Keep checking back, or give us a call to get more information!

Serenity Manor is a Board and Lodge for recovering chemically dependent men, since 1974. We are located in beautiful Mora, Mn. The clientele that choose to live at Serenity Manor are seeking better lives for themselves, and their loved ones. By helping these men lead a sober lifestyle, more opportunities arise for them to be healthier, happier, and also to have more self confidence in themselves so they can lead successful lives.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
                                                if I surrender to His Will;
                                                 That I may be reasonably happy in this life
                                                 and supremely happy with Him
                                                 Forever in the next.
                                                 Amen.

                                                 --Reinhold Niebuhr

At Serenity Manner we encourage the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions programs, as well as the Twenty Four Hours a Day, by Hazelden, philosophy of life..

Residents here are treated like, 'family'  with friendly, caring and helpful staff. Serenity Manor offers a clean, safe, sober, friendly, caring  environment where the atmosphere helps to create a more responsible, chemical free future.

We encourage the men to get out in the community and help out by working, volunteering, and being more active.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will direct your paths.
